Yes, you read that right.
Taco Bell has decided to get into the wine game with their very own ‘Jalapeno Noir’ and apparently it’s meant to pair perfectly with their new Toasted Cheesy Chalupa. According to Food and Wine, the ‘Pinot Noir is produced by Queenston Mile Vineyard in the increasingly popular wine producing region of Niagara Peninsula in Ontario, Canada.’
Taco Bell has been testing out beer and margaritas at some stores for awhile, but this changes the WHOLE game. Unfortunately, the wine is only being tested on our neighbors to the north in Canada right now, hopefully that changes soon! Director of brand marketing for Taco Bell Canada, Kat Garcia stated: “Wine and cheese are simply meant to be together, so launching a new wine to go with the craveable, cheddary Toasted Cheesy Chalupa made perfect sense....At Taco Bell Canada, we love to raise our glass to big, bold ideas that elevate our menu items, and pairing our Toasted Cheesy Chalupa with this Jalapeno Noir is no exception.”
Jalapeño Noir’s flavourful bouquet compliments the 6-month-aged cheddar of the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa Shell like the fates demanded it. Shop now at https://t.co/qogDEKPnL8. #WineAndToastedCheesy pic.twitter.com/hvlQYuCnAF

This is cool and all, but doesn’t make up for all the menu items you took from us. MEXICAN PIZZAS? WHY? WHO WERE THEY HURTING?
