In 2003 those lyrics were stuck in the heads of teens across the globe, and hated by high school girls named Stacy everywhere. It is of course, the song Fountains Of Wayne is most known for and one we all think of today as we hear this awful news.

Adam Schlesinger is the co-front man for the band and has been reported by Fox News to be currently hospitalized with COVID-19. His girlfriend who wishes to remain anonymous reportedly told the news outlet that he is in

“critical condition but his condition is improving slightly and we are cautiously optimistic”.

In a separate article, Schlesinger's attorney, Josh Grier told Variety that "He's very sick and is heavily sedated, as are all people on ventilators". YIKES!
