Snowy day, sweeping the sticks away: Noah Kahan goes from Vermont to 'Sesame Street'

Sure, Noah Kahan has had award nominations, multi-Platinum records and sold-out tours in the last couple of years, but they all pale in comparison to the ultimate honor: a guest spot on Sesame Street.

Noah will guest star on the new season of the iconic children's show, which premieres Jan. 16 on Max, with new episodes every Thursday. Noah's episode is March 6, and he's just one of several musicians who'll be appearing this season. SZA, Chris Stapleton and singer/actress Reneé Rapp are also guests this season, along with Michael B. Jordan, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and others.

Noah's involvement in the show is fitting, given that this season will be focusing on children's "emotional well-being," in response to the "growing mental health crisis affecting children globally," according to a press release. Through his charity The Busyhead Project, Noah works to reduce the stigma of mental illness, and raise awareness of and provide resources for mental health issues.

Don't have Max? The show will also be available on local PBS stations across the country this fall.
