The NBA has postponed Saturday's afternoon game between the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks due to severe weather and icy conditions in the Atlanta area.

The game was set to tip off at 3 p.m. ET.

A makeup date will be announced at a later time.

The winter storm that hit the area brought 1-4 inches of snow on Friday and turned to freezing rain into Saturday, making for dangerous conditions on roadways. The weather also caused hundreds of flight cancellations and delays at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

This is the third NBA game this week that has been postponed, with the Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers-Charlotte Hornets games in LA being called off due to the wildfires still affecting the area.

The Rockets will head home for Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Hawks are not schedule to play again until Tuesday, a home date with the Phoenix Suns.
