Mumford & Sons reveal new album title & release date

The next Mumford & Sons album officially has a title and release date.

The fifth studio effort from the "Little Lion Man" outfit is called Rushmere and arrives March 28. Its previously teased first single is set to premiere on Friday.

Rushmere marks the first Mumford & Sons album since 2018's Delta. Since then, guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall left the band in 2021 and frontman Marcus Mumford put out his debut solo album, (self-titled), in 2022.

In 2024, Mumford & Sons released a single called "Good People" in collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
