James Hetfield paid tribute to the heaviest shredder in the Upside Down with his Halloween costume.
The Metallica frontman dressed up as Stranger Things character Eddie Munson to celebrate October 31, complete with a denim jacket, a long, curly wig and a Hellfire Club shirt.
Metallica posted a photo of Hetfield as Munson on their Instagram along with the caption, "Eddie Munson says Happy Halloween!"
Stranger Things featured Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” in its season four finale earlier this year during a scene in which Eddie rocked the 1986 thrash classic as part of a plan to thwart the villain Vecna. Following its placement in the Netflix show, “Master of Puppets” charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.
