Grammys 2025: St. Vincent, Billie Eilish & more pay tribute to LA with performances

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards Sonja Flemming/CBS (Sonja Flemming/CBS)

After winning three Grammys during the preshow ceremony, St. Vincent took part in the main event's opening performance Sunday night.

The "Broken Man" artist joined Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard, John Legend, Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley alongside the band Dawes for a collaborative cover of Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." in recognition of those affected by the January Los Angeles fires.

Billie Eilish also paid tribute to LA with her performance of "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," which was backed by images of her and her brother FINNEAS growing up around the city. At the end of the song, she declared, "I love you, LA."

Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith of noted California band Red Hot Chili Peppers sang a bit of one of their many LA-referencing songs, "Under the Bridge," together while presenting the award for best pop vocal album.

Outside of the LA tributes, Chris Martin performed the Coldplay song "ALL MY LOVE" during the in memoriam segment honoring members of the music community who've passed away over the last year.
