04/26/19 — From Instagram filters to hidden murals in Nashville, Taylor Swift has been teasing her new music all week. However, we had NO idea that ‘Me!’ would be released featuring BRENDON URIE OF PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!
The almost goofy video begins with the pair arguing in French (LOL) and then explodes into a beautiful montage of dance scenes that include butterflies, splashes of color, and even Grumpy Cat! A stark contrast from the dark and intense themes of her last album Reputation.
WATCH:
The song itself sounds a lot like many Taylor’s songs but the refreshing sound of Urie’s voice will hopefully make hearing it 10957057345 times this year more tolerable.
P!ATD fans are pretty split on the collab. Some are open and excited to see two of their favorite stars together, while others hate the idea of Urie entering the bubblegum world of the Swifties.
Regardless, it was released at midnight last night and already has almost 30 million views. INSANE.
