Late last month Machine Gun Kelly started teasing that a musical was in the works and now we know a bit more about Downfalls High.

With the help of some writing and direction from MOD SUN, the film will be released January 15th and ties together the songs from his latest album, Tickets To My Downfall. It’s narrated by Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker and features an all star lineup of some other musicians in their circle. Kelly describes the movie as a ‘pop-punk Grease’ and described it to NME as, “...like shooting 14 music videos back-to-back, but with a narrative that’s outside of my personal life stories...It focuses on other characters, and then me and [Barker] are just the narrators. It’s an interesting concept because it hasn’t been done for an album ever, maybe outside of like Pink Floyd’s The Wall.”
