Dave Grohl and his producer Greg Kurstein took to social media this week to announce their ‘Hanukkah Sessions’, a series of 8 covers of songs by Jewish artists. They will release one song on each night of the Festival of Lights! (Which starts tonight 12/10)

Grohl, who is not Jewish, and Kurstein, who IS Jewish, made this announcement: “This year, instead of doing a Christmas song, Greg and I decided to celebrate Hanukkah by recording eight songs by eight famous Jewish artists each night of Hanukkah for you, so we hope you enjoy”

So awesome!
