Florida breaks single-day COVID-19 case record with more than 10,100 cases reported in 24 hours

Florida hit a new milestone in the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday, the state has reported more than 10,100 cases of the virus in one day.

The record-breaking increase of 10,109 cases brings the total number of cases in the state to 169,106.
