Westminster Dog Show 2022: See the best in show, group winners

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — The Westminster Kennel Club has a new best in show for 2022.

According to The Associated Press, Trumpet on Wednesday became the first bloodhound to be crowned top dog at the annual competition in Tarrytown, New York.

See Trumpet and the group winners below:

Best in show: Trumpet the Bloodhound

Terrier group: MM the Lakeland Terrier

Working group: Striker the Samoyed

Sporting group: Belle the English Setter

Herding group: River the German Shepherd

Nonsporting group: Winston the French Bulldog

Toy group: Hollywood the Maltese

Hound group: Trumpet the Bloodhound
