PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Authorities in Peachtree City arrested actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish early Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence, WSB-TV reported.
Her arrest came after authorities got a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. reporting a driver asleep behind the wheel of vehicle on Highway 74, WSB reported, citing police. An officer heading to the area saw Haddish’s vehicle and pulled her over. She stopped in the yard of a nearby home, according to WSB.
Police believe Haddish was driving under the influence of marijuana, according to TMZ. In addition to the DUI charge, she also faces a charge of improper stopping on a roadway, the entertainment news site reported.
