Recall alert: 239K Tesla vehicles recalled for issue with rearview camera

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced another recall of Tesla vehicles.

The NHTSA said that a computer circuit board could short in more than 239,000 vehicles. If it shorts out, the driver will lose the rearview camera image.

The recall affects some:

2024-2025 Model 3
2024-2025 Model S
2023-2025 Model X
2023-2025 Model Y

Tesla has already released an over-the-air software update. It will also identify any cars that had a circuit board failure or stress on the system that could cause the board to fail. It will replace the computers that have been affected for free, the NHTSA said.

Owners will receive letters after March 7, but you can call Tesla at 877-798-3752 for more information. The internal recall number is SB-25-00-001.
