EL PASO, Texas — Two pit bulls attacked and killed a Texas woman in a west El Paso home over the weekend, authorities said.
According to KVIA and KFOX, the incident occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday at a Royal Arms Drive home. El Paso police said a woman came home to find the dogs mauling her 59-year-old mother, who died in the attack.
Police do not believe the dogs were neglected and noted that the pets had full food and water bowls, according to the news outlets. Investigators have not determined what prompted the attack, KVIA reported.
