POTOSI, Mo. — A lucky couple in Missouri won a $3 million lottery prize from a scratch-off ticket and said this is their second time hitting a jackpot.
The Washington County couple, who asked not to be identified, bought the winning “Big Riches” scratch-off ticket in Potosi, Missouri, the Associated Press reported.
They started scratching the ticket before even leaving the store and knew immediately it was a winner. They celebrated with a hug inside the store.
Winning was a surprise, but the couple has been lucky before. The same two people won a $250,000 lottery prize several years ago, WDAF reported.
