Best Buy to be closed Thanksgiving Day

If you are planning to look for Thanksgiving Day deals at Best Buy this year, you’ll need other plans.

Best Buy is joining retailers like Walmart and Target and will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

Walmart announced its plans last week, while Target started the trend in January, USA Today reported.

“This year, we’ll have even more ways for customers to easily and conveniently get their holiday shopping done, over the Black Friday weekend and throughout the entire holiday season,” company spokesperson Keegan Shoutz told USA Today in a statement.

Specific plans for Black Friday have not been released, CNBC reported.
