Panic! at the Disco releases new song, "Local God"

Fueled by Ramen/DCD2 Records

Panic! at the Disco has released a new song called "Local God," which will appear on the band's upcoming album, Viva Las Vengeance.

The track finds Brendon Urie seemingly reminiscing about the origins of Panic! with lyrics including "We signed a record deal at 17/Hated by every local band."

You can listen to "Local God" now via digital outlets.

"Local God" is the third song off Viva Las Vengeance to be released, following the title track and "Middle of a Breakup." The album arrives in full on August 19.

In other news, Panic! will be performing at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, taking place August 28. The "Viva Las Vengeance" video is up for the Best Alternative prize.

You can also catch Panic! live in person on their upcoming U.S. tour, kicking off September 8 in Austin, Texas.
