Marcus Mumford & Maren Morris record new version of 'Daisy Jones & The Six' song

Atlantic Records

Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford and country star Maren Morris have teamed up to record a new version of "Look at Us Now (Honeycomb)," a song from the new Amazon Prime Video limited series Daisy Jones & The Six.

The show tells the story of the fictional Fleetwood Mac-esque band Daisy Jones & The Six. Mumford and other artists wrote songs including "Look at Us Now" for its soundtrack, which make up the now-real version of the imagined debut Daisy Jones & The Six album, Aurora.

The new recording of "Look at Us Now," which is available exclusively through Amazon Music, features Mumford and Morris handling lead vocals in place of actors Riley Keough and Sam Claflin, who sing on Aurora.

"I've been a fan of Maren for a long time — both her solo music and her work with The Highwomen — and this duet needed a voice like hers," Mumford says. "We're just honestly so thankful she agreed to do it."

Both the Daisy Jones & The Six series and Aurora are out now.
