Eddie Vedder guests on a new Elton John song called "E-Ticket."

The upbeat, rollicking tune finds the Pearl Jam frontman and the "Rocket Man" icon trading verses and signing about taking a "ride in our e-ticket minds." You can download it now via digital outlets.

"Eddie Vedder is one of the nicest people I know and we got to know each other from times I've spent performing in Hawaii, where he has a place," John says.

"I love his music and Pearl Jam are brilliant, and he's a big fan, so when he left me a note in my dressing room one day saying how much he'd like it if I wrote some music to his lyrics, I jumped at the opportunity," Elton adds. "I actually wrote two! I wrote one for him and one for me and it was such a lovely thing to do for such a good person."

"E-Ticket" is one of many collaborative songs featured on John's new album, The Lockdown Sessions, which is out today. The collection also includes Elton's previously released song "The Pink Phantom" with Gorillaz, as well as the all-star version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" he recorded with Miley Cyrus, Metallica's Robert Trujillo, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, guitarist/producer Andrew Watt, and famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

Vedder, meanwhile, just released a new song called "Long Way" last month. It's the first preview of his upcoming solo album, Earthling, which will be arriving in sometime in the -- hopefully -- not-too-distant future

You can also hear Eddie sing along with Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello on a cover of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell," which is featured on the Rage Against the Machine guitarist's new solo album, The Atlas Underground Fire.
