Gerard Way announces virtual event for Mental Health Awareness

This week Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance announced he is joining Julien Baker, DeathbyRomy, and host Dr. Mike Friedman for Unwound & Unplugged on March 2nd presented by Sound Mind Live. COVID-19 has been immensely heavy on the health and wellbeing of so many people and this virtual event is to provide support for anyone experiencing feelings of isolation, anxiety and mental illness.

The event coincides with the National Day of Unplugging and will happen at 5 P.M. PT/ 8 P.M. ET March 2nd. There will be live performances and a discussion panel. The artists are also expected to share their own experiences and battles with these issues.
