Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro.

The group released its debut album All We Know Is Falling in 2005, with the album reaching number eight on the UK Rock Chart and number thirty on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart. While it only had a minimal commercial performance initially, the album and its lead single "Pressure" were eventually certified Gold by the RIAA after the success of the band's later material.

The band's second album, Riot!, was released in 2007. Due to the success of the singles "Misery Business", "Crushcrushcrush", and "That's What You Get", Riot! was a mainstream success and was certified Platinum in the United States. They then received a Best New Artist nomination at the 2008 Grammy Awards. Their 2009 follow-up, Brand New Eyes, is the band's second-highest charting album to date, landing at number two on the Billboard 200 with 175,000 first week sales. It produced the top-forty single "The Only Exception" and went platinum in Ireland and the UK, as well as gold in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Following the departure of Josh and Zac Farro in 2010, the band released their self-titled fourth album in 2013. It gave the band their first career number one on the US Billboard 200 and was also the number one album in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.It included the singles "Still Into You" and "Ain't It Fun", with the latter winning the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for Hayley Williams and Taylor York as songwriters, making it Paramore's first Grammy win. The band's lineup changed once again after this album cycle with bassist Jeremy Davis leaving the band near the end of 2015 and former drummer Zac Farro rejoining the band in 2017. Their fifth studio album After Laughter was released later that year.

WALK THE MOON is an American rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lead singer Nicholas Petricca started the band in 2006, while a student at Kenyon College, deriving the band's name from the song "Walking on the Moon" by The Police. The group independently released their debut studio album, i want, i want, in November 2010, receiving airplay for the track "Anna Sun" on multiple Alternative radio stations. Along with the success of Anna Sun, Alt. Nation named them a band you need to know for the Summer of 2012. Influential music blog Neon Gold helped to break the band in January 2011, calling Anna Sun "the kind of stuff British A&R dreams, and major label bidding wars, are made of."

Vance Joy, is an Australian singer-songwriter. He signed a five-album deal with Atlantic Records in 2013. He released his debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing in March 2013. His song "Riptide" was voted number 1 on the 2013 Triple J Hottest 100.

Joy released his debut studio album Dream Your Life Away on 5 September 2014 in Australia and on 9 September 2014 elsewhere.At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 he won Best Male Artist.

Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Portland, Oregon. The group consists of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, Jason Sechrist and Eric Howk. Gourley and Carothers met and began playing music together originally at Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska. Their first two albums were released on Fearless Records. On April 2, 2010, the band signed to Atlantic Records.

Bleachers is an American indie pop act based in New York City. It is the official stage name of songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff, who is also part of the bands Steel Train and Fun. Bleachers' pop music was heavily influenced by the late '80s, early '90s and the high school-based films of John Hughes while still using modern production techniques. Their first single, "I Wanna Get Better", was released February 18, 2014.

Andrew McMahon is a vocalist, pianist and primary lyricist for the bands Something Corporate and main songwriter for Jack's Mannequin and performs solo both under his own name as well as his moniker, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. On April 30, 2013, he debuted his first solo work, an EP titled The Pop Underground, which was followed by his debut album Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, released on October 14, 2014. His second solo album, Zombies on Broadway, was released on February 10, 2017.

Saint Motel is an American indie pop band from Los Angeles, whose music has been described as everything from "dream pop" to "indie prog". The band consists of A/J Jackson (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Aaron Sharp (lead guitar), Dak Lerdamornpong (bass), and Greg Erwin (drums).

MisterWives is an American pop band based in New York City, consisting of lead singer Mandy Lee, percussionist Etienne Bowler, bass guitarist William Hehir, guitarist Marc Campbell, multi-instrumentalist Jesse Blum, and saxophonist Mike Murphy. MisterWives have opened for acts such as Panic! at the Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Half Moon Run, Bleachers, The Mowgli's, Walk the Moon, and American Authors. The band is currently signed to Photo Finish Records. The band's debut album Our Own House was released in January 2015.

Joywave is an American indie rock band from Rochester, New York, consisting of members Daniel Armbruster (vocals), Joseph Morinelli (guitar), Sean Donnelly (bass), Benjamin Bailey (keyboards), and Paul Brenner (drums). The band first became known for its collaboration with electronic music project Big Data, "Dangerous", which peaked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2014. After releasing two EPs, their debut album, How Do You Feel Now?, was released on Cultco Music/Hollywood Records in 2015. Their second album, Content, was released on July 28, 2017.

Mondo Cozmo is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is now based in Los Angeles, California. His music is in folk rock, indie rock and alternative rock.

In 2015, Courtney released his first track as a solo artist, "Glitter & Gold", which received radio play on BBC Introducing Suffolk and by BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggert, and led to an appearance at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Exeter the following year. "Glitter & Gold" also reached #1 on the UK Spotify Viral Chart, and #2 on the iTunes Alternative Chart.

Also in 2015, "Fire" was selected by film producer Harvey Weinstein to feature in the Bradley Cooper movie "Burnt" and went on to receive airplay on American rock radio in 2016. To date, "Fire" has been streamed more than eight million times on Spotify, while "Glitter & Gold" has been streamed more than five million times. Courtney played at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX in a showcase for NME magazine in March 2016, and performed "Fire" on Conan O'Brien's TBS talkshow Conan in June. Another track, "Hobo Rocket", was included on the soundtrack of the EA Sports video game FIFA 17. In early 2017, the It's All Indie website selected Courtney as its #1 Sound of 2017.

Vinyl Theatre is an indie rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formed by Keegan Calmes and Chris Senner. The band later grew to include Josh Pothier and Nick Cesarz. Before being signed to an official record label, they produced several singles that were released on the band's Soundcloud page, leading up to the release of Chromatic EP in 2014. The band was then signed to Fueled by Ramen later in 2014. They released their first studio album, Electrogram, with Fueled by Ramen on September 23, 2014. Vinyl Theatre supported the album by going on a national tour of the United States with Twenty One Pilots.
