Swift, 33, walked on stage unannounced at London’s O2 in a silver dress to cheers from the stunned crowd, Variety reported. “Anti-Hero,” which has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 11 weeks on the charts, is from her chart-topping album “Midnights.” The song returned to No. 1 for the week ending Jan. 14, 2023, according to Billboard.

“Is it OK if I sing? I was thinking of doing one I never played live before,” Swift asked the crowd as she picked up a guitar, according to New Musical Express.

Swift also sang an acoustic version of The 1975′s song, “The City,” according to Variety.

The videos of Swift’s performances quickly spread online.

Swift released “Midnights,” her 10th studio album, on Oct. 21, Variety reported. The album quickly broke the Spotify record for the most-streamed album in a single day and has dominated the pop charts.

The 1975 kicked off the British leg of the “At Their Very Best” tour on Sunday in Brighton, according to Variety.
