HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A Texas man was seriously injured on Saturday after he was found covered in blood and his hand chopped off, authorities said.
Harris County Constable Mark Herman tweeted about the incident just after 2 p.m. CDT, KHOU-TV reported.
According to deputies, the man was located and taken to an area hospital for medical treatment, KRIV-TV reported.
Details are sketchy and the victim has not been identified, according to KSAT-TV.
It is unclear what led to the incident, KRIV reported.
Deputies said the victim was in stable condition and will also receive mental health treatment, WOAI-TV reported.
