A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships will be the third studio album from The 1975 and is due out November 30th. Luckily, they have given us a few little gems to hold us over.
Earlier this year they released the first single from the album, ‘Give Yourself A Try’, and now we have the second single ‘Love it If We Made It’, along with a music video.
Additionally they have announced some 2019 tour dates! Unfortunately, Atlanta is the closest they will be to Tampa Bay but hopefully that changes soon.// N O R T H A M E R I C A 2 0 1 9 T O U R – P R E O R D E R A L B U M F O R P R E S A L E C O D E // L O V E https://t.co/DbQc2RRQJB pic.twitter.com/WNlxQMlcjO — The 1975 (@the1975) October 15, 2018

Monday (9/10) was World Suicide Prevention Day and Peter Cornell, brother of Chris Cornell, used it as a platform to share an emotional message about his brother’s suicide that we should all pay attention to.
On May 18th 2017 Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell took his own life in Detroit hotel room. Family, friends, and fans around the world were shocked and devastated. It was yet another tragedy that left all of us, including brother Peter Cornell, wondering ‘could we have done more?’
He wrote in his Facebook post:
In March I sent my Brother an email and asked if he was okay, and he responded, “I got this Brother.”
I am a genius in the world of hindsight. I have all the answers in the time machine of my imagination. The sad truth is I saw something and at the time I didn’t know what it was. I thought success, fortune, beauty, family, immeasurable talent … he’s got this. I never could have imag ined the unimaginable, but I could have pushed way harder to be sure he’s got this…
Full post below.
The message here is important. When it comes to mental health and depression there is no such thing as too many questions. You can’t check up on someone too much. If they say ‘I’ve got this’, don’t believe them.
Push, fight, and support those who are struggling even if they don’t want to hear it. We can all be the reason someone remembers that #TomorrowNeedsYou.
If you want to help more, we’ve teamed up with To Write Love On Her Arms. this year for #97XNBT. This is a ‘non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.’
You can click here to make a one time donation and learn more about the organization, or select the donate option when purchasing NBT tickets.
Remember, if you or someone you know is suffering or needs help, there are ALWAYS options. Visit TWLOHA for more support or you can always call 1-800-273-TALK.
Let’s all be part of the reason we don’t lose these friends, family members, strangers, and artists.
This past Friday Paramore perform in their hometown of Nashville at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. According to E! News, during the performance lead singer Hayley Williams announced they would no longer perform their biggest hit ‘Misery Business’ during shows.
Prior to playing it one last time, she reportedly told the crowd: “ Tonight, we’re playing the song for the last time for a really long time. This is a choice that we have made because we feel that we should. We feel like it’s time to move away from it for a little while…”
She then continued, “This is to every bad decision that led us here. This is to all the embarrassing things we might have said. But we owned up to it, and we grew.”
What do you think of the bands decision to move away from performing the song? Should bands always gave to play the hits at their shows??
Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots has managed to stay almost completely silent during the year break between Blurryface and the first single from Trench, ‘Jumpsuit ‘.
That changed significantly this past week however when he sat down for an intimate interview with Zane Lowe and Apple Music. He opened up about his process of writing music, taking in those fan reactions, and overcoming insecurities along the way. And of course, he does it all looking completely humble and adorable.
Check it out!
Panic! At The Disco have had an unbelievable year. They’ve has wild success from both the Pray For The Wicked Tour and the #1 album. To cap it all off they close out the year headlining one of the last radio shows they will probably ever do, NEXT BIG THING!
The release of this inspiring ‘High Hopes’ video yesterday has to be the icing on the cake. The video features Brendon Urie scaling a sky scraper in LA and throwing a concert on top of it. Even better has to be the caption:
No matter how hard your dreams seem, keep going. You might even have to climb up the side of a building in downtown LA, but it’ll all be worth it at the top. Stay up on that rise, B, P!ATD
STAY UP ON THAT RISE KIDS!!! (I may or may not be crying a little right now – Sam)No matter how hard your dreams seem, keep going.
