Foster The People helped spearhead the resurgence of synth-pop in the alt/indie world throughout 2011 and 2012 with the massive success of "Pumped Up Kicks" and their poppy debut album Torches.
Billboard reports that "Pumped Up Kicks" is the 6th biggest-selling digital alternative single of all time with 5.2 million downloads, and Torches is just shy of platinum status at 989,000 copies.
After a quiet 2013, Foster reminded us on New Year's Eve that they are still here and ready for round 2.
From what the clip lets us hear of new song "Feels Like Coming Of Age" it reminds me a bit of Pet Shop Boys.
The band doesn't provide any other details. No release date for new singles, an album, tour, etc. The video was first shared to twitter with the message, "We're back. Here's a glimpse of 2014."
