Ex-My Chemical Romance bassist confirms new band

By Erika White

The breakup of MCR came suddenly and without warning. Most MCR fans didn't know what the future held for the band. Now, the four members are off doing their own thing.

Mikey Way, former MCR bassist, confirmed via Twitter that he has formed a new band, when asked he simply replied, "Magic 8 ball says 'signs point to yes'". Mikey's brother and former bandmate Gerard Way was also asked what his brother was up to and he responded that Mikey was "busy working on awesome stuff."

Mikey is the last former MCR member to confirm his post-MCR ventures. Ray Toro has already released a solo song, Gerard Way confirmed that he has been working on new music and Frank Iero has recently played with both Death Spells and LeATHERMOUTH.
