It's been a tad over a month since we handed over control of 97X's music to our listeners. During that time, we've asked you to suggest songs you think we should play that aren't currently in our library. Combing through thousands of suggestions takes time - and this is hopefully the first of many updates to be posted here!

If you don't see your suggestions, please keep suggesting them! We are keeping track of each and every suggestion that comes in through the 97X app available for iPhone and Android (suggest a song is on the search page) or on 97xonline.com (below the search window). As far as adding music goes - we're just getting started!

NEW MUSIC

This category is pretty self-explanatory. These are all the newer songs that 97X added to our library since we gave you control of the music. You've probably heard some of these on 97X already, and we'll be adding a lot more to come.

NEW TO 97X

These are older songs that are new to the 97X library on our app and website. They weren't available for voting before, but they are now!

MORE SONGS TO VOTE ON

Finally, we looked at music already in our library. These songs are some of the most commonly added to the voting playlist through the search function on the app and website. It's a diverse, very large group of songs that already get a lot of positive votes. Assuming people vote for these songs when they appear on the playlist, you'll hear them more often. And there's some great stuff here...

We really are just getting started with adding your music suggestions. We'd love to read your comments about the additions to the 97X playlist. And like I said before - please continue suggesting songs you think we should play even if you don't see them here. Reviewing song suggestions and adding music to our library is a continuous process - and our work is never done.
