A Day To Remember posted a new music video... this one is for "2nd Sucks." The band is reimagined as characters in a Mortal Kombat-like video game - after a lengthy intro.

The Hives will return with Lex Hives on June 5, their first album in five years. Rolling Stone posted the new song "Go Right Ahead," which features a slightly more electronic lean than the more garage-y rock they're famous for.

Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazarra was injured when a tree fell on him! He was outside a recording studio on a smoke break when a collapsing tree broke his leg. Don't smoke, kids.

Flogging Molly's latest album Speed Of Darkness is not exactly a concept album, but it's all about frontman Dave King's adopted hometown of Detroit, Michigan. King says, "Even just walking the dog around the neighborhood, a lot of the houses that were foreclosed, there's people in them now. Things seem to be picking up. Maybe I'm being too optimistic here, but there's that fighting spirit. That's what I've always connected with the Irish and people that live in Detroit. That's why I like here. It has that same energy...as when I was growing up in Ireland."

Passion Pit has been working on a new album for over six months now. Mainman Michael Angelakos spoke with Pitchfork about the new material, "I'm really obsessed with perfect songwriting craftsmanship. I don't think a lot of people in music today care about that. Maybe Dr. Luke does, because he has a formula-- but it's a terrible one, and it's not going to last. [laughs]"
