Mumford & Sons may or may not release the follow up to Sigh No More on September 24. Billboard reports:

The band will most likely be playing material from their upcoming album, which, according to multi-instrumentalist Ben Lovett, is slated to land this fall. "We finished the record this week, so we are gonna be able to get it out in September," he said in an interview with Belgian radio station Studio Brussel. "We just figured that out - September 24th." Levett also told NME "If we listen back while we're mixing and discover it's shit, we'll just start again. We're not going to put it out until it's good enough."

New album or not, Mumford & Sons have a very busy summer planned. They announced a series of "Gentlemen of the Road" festival dates beginning in August. Four shows around the U.S. will feature headlining sets from Mumford and different support acts at each stop. Opening bands include Grouplove, Gogol Bordello, St. Vincent, and many others. Maine, Virginia, Illinois, and California are the lucky regions. Here's the full lineup for each "Gentlemen of the Road" stop.

Aug. 4: Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Portland, ME (The Eastern Promenade) - Mumford & Sons + St. Vincent, Dawes, The Maccabees, Apache Relay, Simone Felice, Haim

Aug. 11: Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Bristol, VA/TN (Off State Street in Downtown Bristol) - Mumford & Sons + Dawes, JEFF The Brotherhood, The Very Best, Justin Townes Earle, Apache Relay, Simone Felice, Haim

Aug. 18: Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Dixon, IL (Page Park) - Mumford & Sons + Gogol Bordello, Dawes, Abigail Washburn, The Very Best, Apache Relay, Haim

Aug. 25: Gentlemen of the Road Stopover In Monterey, CA (Monterey County Fairgrounds) - Mumford & Sons + Gogol Bordello, The Very Best, Grouplove, Two Gallants, Apache Relay, Haim

These "Gentlemen of the Road" festivals will be flanked by a month-long U.S tour mostly concentrated on the northeast and midwest. Click here to see those dates.
