Radiohead comes back to Tampa!

By Joel

Radiohead concerts in the Bay Area and leap days both happen once every four years. Okay, not really. But Radiohead will play the St. Pete Times Forum on February 29, 2012. They'll be supporting their latest album The King Of Limbs. Guitarist Ed O'Brien previously told us fans can expect to hear a lot from the last two records.

Nickelback was booked by the Detroit Lions for the halftime performance of their Thanksgiving Day home game, and some Lions fans are not happy about it. Reasons range from 'Nickelback doesn't represent Detroit,' to 'this is a conspiracy to increase halftime concessions sales because Nickelback sucks and everyone will leave to buy beer.'

Paramore continues their 'singles club' with the release of "Hello Cold World." They'll release another new song in December.

Coheed & Cambria's lineup took another hit with the departure of their drummer. Chris Pennie (ex-Dillinger Escape Plan) left the group not quite three months after they fired their bassist following the drug-related armed robbery of a pharmacy.

From the Corey Taylor world of Slipknot and Stone Sour, there's talk of new music from both bands. Corey says Stone Sour should hit the studio towards mid-2012. As for Slipknot, continued grieving for their late bassist Paul Grey still clouds future plans. Taylor expects any new Slipknot material to be "a more saddened form of rage."
