Nirvana recorded Nevermind with producer Butch Vig, who says Kurt Cobain was frustrating to work with. “I’d be balancing the drums and the guitar and Kurt would come and say ‘Turn all the treble off. I want it to sound more like Black Sabbath.’ It was kind of a pain in the ass.” The 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of Nevermind comes out September 27.

 

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor tweeted (@CoreyTaylorRock) about a forthcoming Slipknot U.S. tour and another new Stone Sour album. He's also promoting his book Seven Deadly Sins. The tweet said, "WHOLE bunch of things being plotted: more solo/book tours in Europe and US, new Stone Sour album, a US Slipknot tour... Gonna be busy!"
