 >> Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro is responsible for the most disgusting thing you'll read all day. During his time using drugs Navarro would gross out his good friend, Marilyn Manson of all people, according to Q:

“I don’t know if this is funny, but when I was using intravenous drugs, I used to go in his bathroom and spray his mirror with blood from my syringe. It freaked him out. He would get his assistant to put on rubber gloves and clean it up.

“Right after, I’d go and do it again just to push him. I thought it was funny to be able to freak out Marilyn Manson.”

Release of the new Jane's Addiction's album The Great Escape Artist was pushed back to October 4. In the meantime, you can create your own remix of "Irresistible Force" and possibly win $1,000.

>> Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto says he's always writing music, regardless of the future of his band. Breakup rumors continue swirling, with Leto neither confirming or denying anything. In the meantime, a digital EP of four songs from their recent MTV Unplugged performance is available now with a 'video album' to follow on Tuesday.

>> Oasis' finally collapsed in 2009 under the Gallagher brothers' sibling rivalry. Last week, Liam sued Noel for libel after Noel told the press a 2009 festival performance was cancelled not because of Liam's laryingitis, but rather a hangover. All Liam wanted was apology. He got one, and now the suit has been dropped. Both of them have new musical projects - Noel with High Flying Birds; Liam and the rest of Oasis with Beady Eye - so this press-seeking ridiculousness will likely continue.

>> Replacements' former principal members Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson responded to Rolling Stone's latest inquiry about reunion possibilities. Pretty unlikely. Tommy, who plays bass for Guns n' Roses these days, adds, "The only reason we would ever do it would be to get paid."
