97X Sunday School is an hour of old-school alternative every Sunday night at 8 on 97X. Today's update, purely by coincidence, features all Sunday School artists.

>> Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will perform Nevermind in its entirety for charity. He's invited some other Seattle musicians to help out, and proceeds will go to help a cancer-stricken Seattle music scene mainstay. Sadly, Dave Grohl will be on tour with Foo Fighters in Cleveland that night. The September 20 gig also marks the 20th anniversary of the album's release. The 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of Nevermind hits stores on September 27.

>> Noel Gallagher says leaving Oasis was "a hasty decision" as he looks toward 2015 and the 20th anniversary of their famous album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? Gallagher adds, "We could have maybe come back, made a new album and played that album in its entirety and gone and been the greatest thing ever, but there you go." A few days ago, another former Oasis member Andy Bell gave his version of the band's breakup.

>> Primus will release their first album in 12 years - Green Naugahyde drops September 13. Bassist and singer Les Claypool hilariously explains the long drought between new records: "Primus had hit the creative wall by the end of the '90s and Primus needed to sit.  Like a good compost, we needed to ferment and turn the manure and garbage into fine, nitrogen rich dirt." Listen to an MP3 of new stuff over at Spin.

>> Ministry will return in 2012, as previously reported, after Al Jourgenson retired the band a few years ago. Al says new Ministry material came about as a distraction from his industrial-country project Buck Satan.
