Twenty One Pilots’ “Stressed Out” Hits One Billion Views on YouTube

Regardless of whether you like Twenty One Pilots or not… Regardless of whether you turn the dial when “Stressed Out” comes on… Regardless of whether the undoubtedly catchy lyrics are now stuck in your head and you can’t stand it… Regardless of whether you even know who Twenty One Pilots is, which is practically impossible unless you live under a rock… Their music video for “Stressed Out” just surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. ONE BILLION views. That’s impressive as hell. So lets add another few views to the tally. What do you say?

WATCH: Fall Out Boy release music video for ‘Champion’

Yesterday we received ‘Champion’, the 2nd single from Fall Out Boy’s seventh album M A N I A (due out Sept. 15th). At midnight they also released the music video! The video was shot in The Berrics, a private indoor skate park run by pro skateboarders Steve Berra and Eric Koston. Guest starring in the video is rapper Post Malone and Russian skater Sewa Kroetkov. Oh, and the llamas of course (could Brendon Urie be one of them?). Besides the purple theme and the llamas, the video has got an old school feel that’s totally different than ‘Young and Menace’. Just another sign that we have absolutely no idea what to expect from this album!!

LCD Soundsystem Announce New Album Ensuing Tour Including a Florida Date

I’ve got good news, better news, and not so good news. The good: LCD Soundsystem will be bringing their talents to Florida in support of their upcoming album, American Dream. While they played almost every festival on the planet last year and continue to tour feverishly this year, including a 5 shows at Brooklyn’s newest music venue just last week, they mostly avoid Florida. What else is new? They did make a quick appearance at Miami’s III Points Festival last October, and will be making the trek back to Miami again this fall! See the bad for more info…. The better: LCD Soundsystem formally announced the new album they have been teasing for about a year. Titled, American Dream, the album will be released September 1st via Columbia/ DFA records. James Murphy, the perfectionist, wanted to be able to release the album both digitally and on vinyl at the same time. That takes a lot of time because of backlogged vinyl productions. Track list: 01. “oh baby” 02 “other voices” 03. “i used to” 04. “change yr mind” 05. “how do you sleep?” 06. “tonite” 07. “call the police” 08. “american dream” 09. “emotional haircut” 10. “black screen” The bad: While LCD Soundsystem was nice enough to include Florida on their upcoming tour, the closest they will be coming is Miami. It’s not too far to see a legendary band who has never played Tampa, ever. Well, Special Disco Version played a 2009 show in Tampa, which consisted of just James Murphy and Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem and they’ve played Orlando once. That’s still not Tampa, and thus you will probably have to travel if you ever want to see them live.

Fall Out Boy Tease Next M A N I A Single ‘Champion’

This is the KILLER art for Fall Out Boy’s next M A N I A single ‘Champion’ due out tomorrow! They tweeted along with the art “i am a champion of the people that don’t believe in champions…”. Quite fitting seeing that featured on the cover are Leonardo DiCaprio with his Oscar that he waited an eternity for, Barb from Stranger Things (who we all secretly hope is alive), the notably awkward McLovin from Superbad, along with other motivating famous failures turned triumphs. i am a champion of the people that don't believe in champions. second wave of M A N I A is coming – Champion 6/22 — Fall Out Boy (@falloutboy) June 19, 2017 CHAMPON — Fall Out Boy (@falloutboy) June 15, 2017 The first single ‘Young and Menace’ was released on April 27th. It came with the announcement of the seventh album M A N I A, out September 15th, AND their tour which stops in Tampa Nov 5th Amalie Arena.

Foo Fighters Announce Album, Tour, And Their Very Own Music Festival

It’s been a busy few weeks for Foo Fighters. Yesterday they finally announced that their ninth album Concrete and Gold will be out September 15th through Roswell Records/RCA Records. NEW MUSIC: Mikey Mike – Doin’ Me

Ever heard of Mikey Mike? Most likely the answer is no…but that could change. Mikey Mike is a farely eccentric personality out of LA. He’s spent most of his career behind the scenes producing and creating for big names like Rihanna and Sia but has now decided to come forward as a recording artist in his own right. He’s got a fairly unconventional way of doing things, including putting posters around LA asking for friends because he’s ‘Lonely as F***’. And more recently putting up billboards that say “Ginger curious…Send nudes” with his phone number. Publicity stunts? Well, probably. Either way his debut single is pretty good. What do you think of ‘Doin Me’? See more at

Foo Fighters Announce New Album, ‘Concrete and Gold, Out in September

Foo Fighters surprised us all a few weeks ago with the sudden release of a new single, ‘Run’ and it seems they haven’t stopped working since then. Just today they announced that their ninth album Concrete and Gold will be out September 15th through Roswell Records/RCA Records. Dave Grohl made a statement regarding the LP  saying “I wanted it to be the biggest sounding Foo Fighters record ever” He says he wants “to make a gigantic rock record but with [producer] Greg Kurstin’s sense of melody and arrangement… Motorhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper… or something like that.” (Billboard) They’ve debuted some of the new singles at shows over the past few weeks. Here is the full track list! The Chainsmokers get a geography lesson on Twitter

Last week The Chainsmokers finished up their ‘Memories…Do Not Open’ tour. Shortly after, the duo teased that more dates were coming in the best way possible. It happened on Twitter Sunday night as they innocently tweeted ‘Don’t worry Asia got a lot of announcements coming soon… and you too India and Australia’.  Don't worry Asia got a lot of announcements coming soon… and you too India and Australia — THE CHAINSMOKERS (@TheChainsmokers) June 19, 2017 Is this real life? Do they actually not realize that India is a country? WITHIN THE MASS CONTINENT OF ASIA? I can’t with this. But don’t worry, Twitter wasn’t going to let the opportunity for a geography lesson slip by. — Raghav Chhabra (@MisterRaghav) June 19, 2017 India is in Asia, looks like chainsmokers smoked something really hard and you'll are over-rated ffs. — Aditya Jadhav (@insane_insaan03) June 19, 2017 Did India separate itself from the asiatic land mass since I last saw a map?? — Joon (@joonieinabottle) June 19, 2017 Indians are asians too btw hahahaha — Purvi (@Quirky_Purvi) June 19, 2017 Don't smoke too much Mr. Chain-smoker. Smoking is injurious to #Geography — Vipin Chaurasia (@Vip_Chaurasia) June 19, 2017 India is in Asia, 2nd largest Asian country. 🤔 — JIM-JIMIN (@JamsAreMine) June 20, 2017 Oh well, at least they still have those late night grocery trips.  grocery stores after midnight are a magical place — THE CHAINSMOKERS (@TheChainsmokers) June 20, 2017

Dave Grohl brings his 8-year-old daughter on stage to play drums

During a Foo Fighters show in Iceland on Friday Dave Grohl’s daughter Harper came on stage to play drums with the band. Grohl said she came to him 2 weeks before and said ‘Daddy, I wanna play the drums.” So naturally he taught her to play Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ and the band sang along. Pretty good for 8 years old, but then again when your Dad started out as the drummer for Nirvana you’re kinda set up for success. Happy belated Father’s Day Dave!

WATCH Paramore Cover Drake’s “Passionfruit”

Paramore visited BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in between shows while on their British run in support of After Laughter, and gave the world a performance to rejoice about. The band performed “Hard Times” but most notably covered Drake’s smash hit “Passionfruit”. The instrumentation of the vibe(y) song is unlike any Paramore song I’ve ever heard, and I think Drake would approve. Haley Williams takes over vocal duties while the rest of the band figures out how to replace the steel drums with picked guitar sounds. Watch the video below.

Twenty One Pilots Won’t Be Headlining Coachella Anytime Soon

Twenty One Pilot’s took time out of their headlining set at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware to slam Coachella, in what is now a viral moment. It’s safe to say that they won’t be getting a call to headline, let alone perform there anytime soon. Tyler Joseph told the crowd, “It’s not that we don’t like Coachella, it’s just that we cant stand it.”

LISTEN to Coldplay’s New Song “All I Can Think About Is You”

Coldplay is on the verge of releasing their thirteenth EP this summer, titled Kaleidoscope. That Chainsmokers collab that you definitely had stuck in your head at some point is on that EP, and Chris Martin and co just dropped the second single from it a couple of days ago. Rejoice Coldplay fans because, “All I Can Think About Is You” is a complete turnabout from “Something Just Like This”. I’m not saying that “Something Just Like This” isn’t a good song, because, in my opinion, it’s perhaps the Chanismokers best song thanks to Chris Martin. The subtle melody he adds to the song makes it standout from the rest of their catalog. “All I Can Think About Is You” is reminiscent of the Viva La Vida version of Coldplay at times. Imagine you’re wandering through a rural filed on a starry night, with no purpose in mind. All of a sudden you are overcome with adrenaline and begin to run. You end up getting lost but that’s okay. The stars will bring you home. Corny analogy? Maybe. But you get the gist. Listen to the song below.
