More than 200 pre-professional ballet students from around the globe will perform in a suite from the ballet Le Corsaire, alongside cutting-edge contemporary work by international choreographers. Former Patel Conservatory students Drew Nelson and Hannah Bettes, who are full scholarship students at England’s Royal Ballet School (RBS), will dance the central pas de deux from Le Corsaire. Bettes is the winner of several international ballet competitions, including Switzerland’s prestigious Prix de Lausanne. World premiers created by Juilliard graduate and award-winning choreographer Dylan G-Bowley, and Nelson, who has created works for RBS, will be performed. Guest dancers will include Tampa natives Emily and Kate Kadow. Kate is a principal dancer with State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara and Emily dances with San Francisco Ballet.Fri., July 26 at 7 p.m., Ferguson HallTickets start at $15.
