Train to become a horticultural volunteer. It takes a special gardener who wants to expand their gardening knowledge. Do you have what it takes? The Master Gardener Program is a volunteer program by the University of Florida/IFAS to extend horticulture outreach into our community. Do you want to improve your gardening skills and success? This is a side benefit to the program. You will increase your gardening skills while providing outreach to the community. Presented by Lisa Hickey, Extension Agent. Topics relate to gardening, landscaping, water conservation and more. It is cooperatively funded by Manatee County Government, the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (I.F.A.S.) and the United States Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.).
