Polar Extreme! with polar explorer Børge Ousland Norway’s Børge Ousland is living proof that people with perseverance, skill and imagination can still achieve historic firsts in exploration. Ousland became the first person to cross Antarctica coast to coast, alone and without support. He and partner Mike Horn became the first to reach the North Pole unsupported during the darkness of winter — one of the most technically difficult expeditions ever accomplished. Ousland shares his trek through the harshest conditions on Earth and proves that it is possible to achieve the “impossible.”
