Coastal Cleanupin partnership with Florida Public Archaeology Network and Expedition Florida 500 Public lands and estuaries provide benefits that are critical to ecosystem health and the health and well-being of people who recreate on them and live in close proximity to them. Please volunteer to give back to Tampa Bay and the lands of Weedon Island Preserve. Volunteers will use canoes and kayaks to help clean up the difficult-to-reach shorelines of Weedon Island Preserve.  The cleanup will help to protect wildlife from entanglement and increase the aesthetic value of our natural surroundings.Each volunteer will sign a Pinellas County Volunteer Form and Canoe waiver.  All participants must be 10 years old or greater. Any participants under 18 years old must be companied by an adult with a ratio of 1 adult: 1 youth.Participants must wear a clothes toed wading shoe (old tennis shoes, keens, scuba booties).  Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, cover up) is recommended.
