The four sessions will address the following topics:March 61 – Introduction to Photoshop Elements – This session covers the photo Organizer and the "Quick" and "Guided" edit options providing basic image adjustments. Red-eye removal; teeth whitening; adding text to your image; healing blemishes (and other unwanted objects), adjusting brightness, contrast, and color; and special effects such as "high-key", "low-key", vignette, and pop-art will be addressed.March 132 – Image Adjustments and Area Selections – Here we discuss "Expert" mode. (Expert mode is really not difficult. It just offers lots and lots more options.) We'll discuss the Menu Bar, Selection Tools, the Color Palette, and other image adjustments and enhancements.March 203 – Working With Layers and Filters – We will work with the Layers Palette, the Layers Menu, many more filters and special effects such as mosaic, brush stroke, sketch, and artistic options. We will also practice with camera correction options such as perspective adjustments and the use of camera filters.April 34 – Camera Raw and Special Techniques – Here we will work with the Camera Raw Editor (which can also be used to process JPEGs by the way), Camera Raw Tools and Adjustments, Special Techniques and Photo Manipulation.
