The Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College (ASPEC), a unique community of lifelong learners and sponsor of the ASPEC Public Forum Series, invites you to attend their next Forum, "What's New at the Dalí Museum" presented by Dr. Hank Hine, Director of the Dalí Museum. The Forum will be held at Fox Hall on the Eckerd College Campus, 4200 54th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33711 on January 23, 2013 at 4:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Hine earned his Bachelor's degree at Stanford University, his Master's and Ph.D. at Brown University, and has taught at California College of the Arts, Stanford University and the University South Florida. Dr. Hine's academic interests and scholarly publications include the subjects of text/image relationships, contemporary art and literature, and the opportunities of new media. As founder and director of Limestone Press in San Francisco, Hine advanced historic collaborations between artists and writers in limited-edition archival and compact forms. Hine directs the Dali Museum in its period of most intensive growth. Its distinguished new building protects this stellar collection and welcomes visitors into extraordinary experiences of discovery.
