SAT DEC 1 Vodkanauts' Tenth Anniversary Deluxe Super-Spectacular Extravaganza Vodkanauts (POWER LOUNGE) For ten years, guitarist Mark Warren has led casts of talented musicians under the name Vodkanauts as one of the most entertaining live bands in Tampa Bay. This very special tenth anniversary show includes appearance from former band members and collaborators, resulting in song selections not heard from the band for years. The Vodkanauts have performed at many WMNF benefit shows and the evening concludes with abridged renditions of two of the band's most notable full-album projects: The Who's Tommy album and Pink Floyd's magnum opus, The Wall. Imagine a twilight world of sonic make believe where Dean Martin and Neil Diamond share equal billing with Danny Gatton and Hank Marvin, where reverb-drenched surf freakouts segue into a small jazzy combo playing a Vegas nightspot frequented by The In Crowd and where roadhouse-rockin' twangfests coexist with tranquil atmospheric meditations.
