This class is also know as the GI-BMP class or Green Industry - Best Management Practices class.Manatee County also requires a certification class to provide training in Landscape Best Management Practices for anyone working in the landscape maintenance industry who DOES NOT apply fertilizer. The ordinance requires that all fertilizer applicators working for commercial companies, governments and in-house employees of private companies obtain the Limited Certification for Urban Landscape Commercial Fertilizer.This class provides the training and testing necessary to obtain a Limited Certification for Urban Landscape Commercial Fertilizer (LCULCF). It is focused on reducing non-point source pollution resulting from landscape maintenance activities.Following completion of this training, you will be given a post-test to determine knowledge learned.If the post-test is successfully completed, you will be mailed a certificate of completion.This class may cancel if attendance is too low.Call 941-722-4524 ask for Jennifer or Dave if you have questions.
