The University of Tampa presents: An Evening of American Opera...scenes, on Saturday, December 1 at the Reeves Theater at 7:30 PM. Favorite Opera scenes will include: Candide - Leonard Bernstein The Tender land - Aaron Copland Old Maid and the Thief - Gian Carlo Menotti A Little Night Music - Stephen SondheimThe opera workshop class is made up of students of different majors, and is presented free of charge. This is a perfect opportunity to experience opera for the first time - as everything is sung in English! Laugh at the humorous music of Bernstein, fall in love on the American plains, and take off for a weekend in the country where intrigue is on everyone's minds!
