They are added to the BRA breast cancer fund to help women and men affected by breast cancer and financial hardship in the Tampa Bay area. Patient's living expenses are paid to ease their mind during chemo and treatment. Loss of work is often a side effect of the recovery and ultimately the paycheck is not enough to make ends meet. BRA steps in at this time evaluating each person's hardship and determining the level of assistance. Help is given and a new friendship is being build which continues long after the initial visit. This is a fundraising walk, minimum to raise is $500. All funds go to breast cancer patients by direct paying their bills for them in their time of hardship.
