“Nut And Bolts”The Basics of Domestic Violence Advocacy November 26 & 27, 2012From 8:30am - 5:00pm 12:00-1:00 pm – Lunch (on your own) (12 CEU’s: 9 Domestic Violence, 3 General)(CLE Provider # 0248564 - 13.50 General CLER creditsincluding .50 substance abuse & .50 mental illness awareness) “Nuts and Bolts” is a four part, 2 Day training on the basics of domestic violence advocacy. This training is offered to advocates, volunteers, clergy, and other community based providers who work with victims of domestic violence. “Nuts and Bolts” includes the courses FJC 101, FJC 201, FJC 301, and FJC 401 and covers topics including but not limited to dynamics of domestic violence, safety planning, lethality assessment, confidentiality, ethics, boundaries, working with diverse populations, dating violence, and effects of domestic violence on children andadolescents. Cancellation Policy: It is the policy of the Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County and Sexual Abuse Intervention Network (SAIN) that a training credit will be made for cancellations made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event.No refund or training credit will be issued for those cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of the start of the event.To Cancel, call the Outreach Coordinator at (813) 490-9428 or send an email to outreachcoord@fjchc.org .
